Gali - Kavur Vineyards - Kavur Tarım ve Bağcılık Ltd.
 

Our story began in 2005, when our founder, Mr. Hakan Kavur, acquired 48 hectares of land in the Dogan Arslan district of the Gallipoli Peninsula.

The project was to manufacture a single wine, 'GALİ. In order to do that, we paid several visits to and conducted studies in Bordeaux and the surrounding districts, especially Pomerol and St Emillion. We planted about 24 hectares of our land with 78% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

We commercialised our first wine, 'GALI 2009', in November 2011.
